From September 2016 West Midlands Construction UTC will be based in a brand new, purpose-built building in Wolverhampton City Centre at our Springfield Campus, sharing cutting-edge facilities with the University of Wolverhampton. Whilst this is being constructed, we are based at a temporary campus in Wolverhampton, where our students will be helping us to Design, Build and Innovate for our new building!

Our students will benefit from hi-tech learning environments and technical workshops equipped with specialist kit donated by our employer partners. We will use state of the art CAD/CAM technology, including full colour 3D printers, laser cutters and large format 3D routers, alongside exceptional design technology that includes both virtual and augmented reality technology and industry standard laser scanning and surveying equipment.

A blend of design studios, ICT rich Innovation and Maker spaces, industry specified materials and civil engineering labs alongside our workshop and construction park will give our campus a corporate feel. Break-out spaces, a cyber cafe and our design gallery offer areas for relaxation and private study.

All learners will have access to cutting edge ICT facilities and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and make use of personal computing devices in all of their studies.
